At the beginning of 2013, acme Holdings built a modern factory on a land of 80 acres in Shanghai, the plant has a total floor space of 36,000 M2. The new garden-like factory has divided into automated equipment workshop, system tuning workshop, molds & tooling workshop, and trial production cleanroom.

For the automated equipment or system, robot is the indispensable important bridge that connects all of the items together. Design of robot is greatly related to customers’ demands. First of all, the major condition is to form effect between definite dimensions and shape as well as the expected outcome, and to propose design schemes according to the customer’s demand. Secondly, as the robot has intimate cooperation with the injection mold, therefore it is necessary to choose robot according to the location of cavity, weight and dimensions of the moldings, and so on.
We design the robot according to different products and carry out different adjustment according to specifications and characters of injection molding machine, injection mold and relevant equipment. Injection mold is one of the important key factors for the system, and is no doubt boosting value of a system. Injection molds and tooling design requires long-accumulated professional knowledge and practical experience of the processing machines, and excellent manufacturing facilities, with all of which, could therefore establish a sophisticated molds and tooling workshop, thus and so providing a strong support to System Total Solutions.
To most companies, molds and tooling are normally designed and made by their subcontractor. This type of operation, in addition to many uncontrollable factors, is difficult to do further research and development. In order to have these made by ourselves, we employed experienced R&D talents to make up a strong design team, and built up a fully equipped workshop. In order to boost the level of accuracy and quality of the molds, we invested heavily various machining facilities in this workshop that include, EDM from Charmilles, high-speed CNC lathes from MAZAK, and CNC machining centers from MAKINO, also three-coordinate measuring instruments from Mutitoyo etc.

In order to pursuit safe food packaging and to meet the high hygiene standards, we build a Class 100,000 Clean Room of 2200 M2 in space. Systems, after having fully tuned, can be moved to this cleanroom to carry out trial production. We set strict rules to each procedure and pay attention to clean packaging to ensure your products meet the hygienic standards for food packing.
acmepals also offers『Valet Production Service』to allow our customers putting their products into formal production at this cleanroom temporarily, so that they can anticipate outflanking their new products into the most competitive market rapidly. In that place, more than 20 injection molding machines such as Demag, Sumitomo, and some top Taiwanese and Chinese brands; also relevant injection mold, automation and auxiliary equipments as well as pick-and-place robots etc. are available for rental, all of which lead to a professional mass production space.
